Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. Well , due to my hectic schedule, I've been unstable on the chain. However, I decided to take part in this weekend experience community prompt.
Two weeks ago, everything that could go wrong chose to happen to me at once. It was a funny, weird, and excruciatingly painful event. So, on a Tuesday evening, I decided to ride my bicycle to a neighboring store to purchase some food. My friends made a joke before I left that I shouldn't bring my bike because I would probably crash it. We all started to laugh.
After purchasing what I needed, I headed back to my apartment. While I was going back home, I saw a tricycle and an elderly woman who was carelessly standing by the side of the road not far from where I was going. I was trying to dodge being crushed by the tricycle while also attempting to avoid hitting the elderly woman who was carelessly standing by the roadside. The neighborhood is more like a semi-urban one, therefore there are all various sorts of people there. So, next to the elderly woman, there was a woman frying fish and yam in the exact same location. So, this is me dodging three people at once. So when I held the brake, I had no clue what occurred next, but I found myself on the floor, and the hot oil that the woman was using to cook the fish and yam splashed over my leg. I didn't sustain any serious wounds or scars because those nearby were quick to help and poured raw eggs on the affected area.
When I got home, I thought the whole charade was over, but then the woman whose fish and oil spilled, demanded that I pay a hefty fee that was more than the cost of the fish and oil. My friend was forced to pay the fee, though, because I wasn't present when she said it because I wasn't there. And I was so hurt and upset because the woman didn't care whether I was in pain or if I was going to receive treatment. Following that, and with that frustration and everything, I went to my bank app to replenish 500 naira worth of airtime so I could make a call, and I accidentally recharged about 5000 naira worth of airtime, which was about $6+. I had to put my phone away and go to bed because I was on the verge of crying.
The next day, I took a motorbike to the market, my phone dropped on the ground and was almost smashed by a passing car. I almost gave up and chose to spend the remaining days of the week at home. It seemed as if it had been arranged for my whole week to be miserable. It was the week I'd never forget.
Until next time, have a wonderful day.
