Hello everyone, Happy weekend and I wish everyone Merry Christmas and a happy New year in advance.
It's really my first time engaging here in the weekend experience and shout out to @galenkp for having such wonderful themes up for debate.
You're on a search for a new buddy this weekend... What attributes do you search for in them and why?
This specific issue attracted my interest and I instantly had a flashback of how introverted I was while growing up. I rarely had friends since I prefer my own company more or hanging out near a group of older kids even though I don't join in their talk. As time went on, and as I emerged into adolescence, I began embracing friendships. This year 2022, I have acquired and also lost several relationships with pals. I also look forward to finding new mates over time. Making new friendships for me, should be with a reason. I truly don't make friends merely to have fun and hang around. There are additional purposes as well as traits I look out for in a friend such as; what can I gain from you?, do you share the same vision and purpose as I do? and how we may both assist one another to reach these objectives.
Also, some other attributes I look out for before picking a buddy are:

A guy of integrity: There's this humility in being an honest person. I could recollect a humorous scenario which had occurred some years back. There's this buddy who tells lies at every little chance and one day I came up to him and I questioned him "what's the purpose lying when you could simply state the truth and spare you the stress of generating or coming up with new lies to cover up the previous ones just to keep in character"? And he was astonished. Honestly,It truly takes nothing to simply be honest. It makes you a dependable guy.

One with optimistic mindset: I honestly to not condole negativity. It demoralizes me. I enjoy people who make positive pronunciations, people who think we can do it even when it appears tough, people who are driven to accomplish great things, people who can encourage and boost my spirit when I'm at my lowest. Having such folks around, we would undoubtedly attempt the impossible.

One who is loyal, reliable and certainly not judgemental.

Another trait I look out for is one that doesn't speak too much and talks when required. It's interesting how this seems like it doesn't matter or it's not required 😃 yet to me it does. I only participate in dialogue that adds value to my life. They say **"Time is money"**So why spend my time talking about people's guilt and relationships when we might do research together on the internet or YouTube on issues that interest us .

Well, with that being stated, I aim to find these perfect buddies with at least 80% of these attributes.
