Welcome to the new year, everyone! I hope the holiday was lovely for you everyone. The ringing in of the new year wasn't all that bad. In my church, we do this religious thing where we have an evening service that is often named "Crossover Night" from 9 p.m. on December 31st to January 1st of the new year. I apologize for not being able to acquire any pictures of how things happened, but I will still do you all the favor of sharing my experience.
I actually didn't have anything planned for December 31 since I've been at home by myself for a week and a half. Although I had just gotten home from school and really wanted some alone time, I was unable to spend the Christmas and New Year's holidays with my family. Since it was the weekend, I chose to clean the apartment. I began by organizing and cleaning both my room and my parents' room. moved on to the sitting room after that. While I clean the house, I like to listen to loud music. So I kept working on my duties while listening to the music and appreciating its rhythm.
After finishing the whole house's cleaning, I started preparing breakfast since I was very hungry and it was almost noon. I simply kept watching anime while I was eating on my laptop. It continued until it was time for the cross-over service in the evening, at which point I departed for church. Worship, adoration, and appreciation to God for His mercies and faithfulness to us were the main focuses of the service. When the clock struck twelve o'clock in the morning, everyone exclaimed in unison, "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" and we embraced and danced too.After that, we adjourned and returned to our own homes. While I was at home, I took the opportunity to wish my friends and family a happy new year as well via phone call and video chat. Well that's how my new year's eve went.
