I get quickly attracted to light skin guys, please note it's not a yardstick or a do or die affair, I don't have a particular preference in skin color that's why I used the adjective “Quickly” but believe me no matter how light skin you are, the moment I notice plenty red flags those butterflies will just start dying...
Dear kingdom people when it comes to “marriage/relationship” it's a very serious aspect of your life, your level of compatibility should supersede the feeling of connection or attraction.
No matter how attractive the physical aspect is please analyze the spiritual aspect and compatibility.
Don't be running after dark skin, beard geng, tall and handsome and then end up with a woman beater. Instead of enjoying marriage, you might be enduring.
Can two walk together except they be agreed?.
Don't start discussing what needed to be discussed before marriage inside marriage.
Even if the person is a Christian!!!
Please don't assume, ask questions....
Do they believe in instilling discipline in children?
How emotionally balanced and self sufficient are they?
Have you checked for soundness and the quality of their mindset?
What are the values and principles they live by?
Don't get overly carried away with what you just see, I can relate that it can be very tempting but it's also a tool of the enemy to destroy destiny that you get carried away with the physical looks and you forget your values and belief systems, and you start compromising on all what you stand for because you're trying to save or get into a relationship.
You begin to sweep a lot of things under the carpet, you pay a blind eyes to the red flags flaunting themselves all around.
YOU see the kind of friends they keep around them but you tell yourself it's them you're courting not their friends.
Is he/ she accountable?
How well do they manage resources?
How easily do they forgive or accept mistakes when there's argument or offences?
Are they willing to learn, grow and invest in themselves all these and others should be indices to decide if you proceed or not.
That she looks like miss Nigeria, very beautiful, possesses all the features physically doesn't mean she is the perfect one. Look beyond the physical features. but in addition Uncle can she pray? 🤔 Prayer is very important for every Christian home to grow. It's necessary they put God first as the head.
So she doesn't end up frustrating or nagging you out of your career or ministry!!!
Ohhh he's such a fine man with the height, I know Sis, but hey, you don't need your husband to be just a fine man, you need him to be a priest over your house, your spiritual head and covering🔥🔥
Having a muscular body, six packs, hips, curvy figure are good but they are all attraction not VALUE.
So you don't end up marrying a woman who has all the dimensions to satisfy a man in bed but when there's need for spiritual or intellectual support she's Zero.
Trying to change them when you're already in a relationship would be difficult as you can't even change someone who's not ready to change and that's the work of the Holy Spirit.
Don't rush into a relationship because you feel a connection, that might just a mere feeling beyond what you think it is. Don't be too fast to accept proposal, I understand the fact about ladies saying there's no time on their side but rather be Spiritually alert so your spouse doesn't end up becoming a prayer point instead of a prayer partner during marriage
And also be very Prayerful, the Holy Spirit can reveal unseen and bring out traits in a person that they may try to hide, if you rely on your intelligence it will fail you, Always pray and if you're in a relationship and you've tried and seen that your level of compatibility is very poor please it's time to leave, a broken relationship is far better than a broken marriage, there's still someone for you, your broken heart will get healed.
“Physical aspects are not enough to handle the spiritual things marriage comes with ”.
Beyond the connection, weigh your compatibility my dears❤️.
I hope you got value, Thanks for engaging.
